Lisa Gneo, Director of Sales and Marketing for Z NYC Hotel, is always on the lookout for “anything that improves the guest experience.” So it’s no surprise that when she experienced ALICE at The Waterstone Resort in Boca Raton, she immediately reached out to our sales team to learn more.
The Z NYC Hotel is a trendy 100-room boutique hotel in Long Island City, with a 5,000 square foot rooftop lounge, featuring seasonal Yoga classes and year round cocktails, as well as a full service restaurant serving light Italian fare and fresh seafood.
Initially, Lisa was looking for a tool that would elevate her guest’s experience by giving them access to all of the hotel’s services anytime, anywhere; from ordering rooftop drinks, to booking a restaurant reservation while taking a stroll in the neighborhood.
However, her problem extended far beyond improving guest engagement. Like many similar-sized hotels, she was relying on radios, pen and paper and excel spreadsheets to keep track of requests and communicate across departments. Not only did this lead to communication mix ups and lack of accountability, but it also led to more dropped requests, which negatively impacted the guest experience.
So when she learned about how ALICE’s operational backend streamlines all of this communication into a unified, cloud-based system, she jumped at the opportunity to work with us. Today, we are very excited to begin working with a hotel that is as forward thinking as Z NYC.
