April 14, 2019

ALICE, the operations platform powering the world’s best hotels, welcomes Darren Panto as Director of Enterprise Sales, Europe.

Darren joins ALICE from iRiS Software Systems, where he was most recently VP of Sales for Europe, delivering cutting-edge solutions for guest-facing technology. His previous career experience has all been in hospitality - starting as a holiday rep in Europe whilst on his summer holidays at university, to then becoming a Sales & Marketing VP for a leading tour operator. Since then, he has worked his way up the ranks, gaining an in-depth knowledge of hotels, destinations, and customer expectations.

Darren is looking forward to offering hotel groups an innovative and efficient tool to connect departments and manage all hotel operations with one platform. “This is where ALICE adds so much value through its task management and operations platform as a whole,” notes Darren. “Hotels want staff accountability, efficiency, and pride, and ALICE helps with all of those, and the reporting is there to prove it.”

“There are so many pieces to the back-of-house hotel puzzle nowadays and ALICE simplifies the whole operation and also enables partner integration with their open API,” says Darren. “It is exciting to be able to offer a tool to make a hotelier’s life easier and more efficient.”

Adds Jessica Kramer, ALICE’s VP of Enterprise: "We are thrilled to have Darren Panto joining the team. His experience in opening and growing hotel technologies in the European market is invaluable. Darren brings a wealth of experience building relationships with regional and global chains across Europe and beyond, especially in the U.K. where he is based. He has seen other hotel technologies through every growth phase and shown success at every level. I know Darren will do great things at ALICE."

Darren holds a BA (Hons) degree in Recreation and Tourism Management and is a member of the exclusive MCC in the U.K., as well as a Fellow of the Institute of Travel & Tourism. Darren is a massive fan of all sports and trains regularly in Krav Maga. He also happens to have played professional cricket before entering the world of travel.
